This policy explains how NHB Industrial Pte Ltd (UEN 202542682D), operating the "Stay Where ah?" property search service under the ShepherdLab brand ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data. By creating an account or giving consent on our site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. What we collect

• Account details you give us: your username and email address, and a mobile number if you choose to provide one.
• Consent record: the fact and time that you agreed to be contacted, kept as proof of consent under the PDPA.
• Your saved activity: searches, shortlists and alert preferences. These are stored in your own browser; when accounts are backed by our server, they are stored against your account.
• Technical data: standard information your browser sends (such as device type and general usage), used to keep the service secure and working.

We do not collect NRIC, financial account numbers, or payment details. Any income or savings figures you enter into the affordability tool are used in your browser to produce an estimate and are not required to be stored by us.

2. Why we use it

• To create and manage your account, and let you download your comparison as a PDF.
• To send you alerts when a home matching your saved search appears or changes in price.
• To contact you about homes and services relevant to your search, where you have consented.
• To operate, secure and improve the service.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the service — for example email delivery and website hosting — bound to protect your data and use it only for us.
• A relevant advisor or partner (such as a mortgage or eldercare partner) only where you have asked us to connect you, or given specific consent.
• Authorities, where required by law.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your account, shortlist and saved searches on your device. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, we will do so, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as consent logs) by law.

6. Your rights under the PDPA

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct data that is inaccurate.
• Withdraw consent: opt out of being contacted at any time. Once you withdraw, we stop sending you alerts and marketing; note that some features (like alerts) will no longer work.

7. Keeping your data safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. As our service uses cloud infrastructure, some data may be processed on servers located outside Singapore; where this happens, we take steps to ensure a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
